Charles (Chuck) leads the COPILOT team, which advises life science organizations on creating functional reimbursement HUB services.
He has over 25 years of bio-pharmaceutical industry experience, including responsibility for strategic reimbursement,
pricing, payer strategy, product distribution, medical communications, payer marketing and HEOR modeling.
Also, Chuck has specialized expertise in Hematology, Oncology, Infectious Disease, Addiction Medicine, CNS,
OA and rare disorder products. He has worked extensively on healthcare policy issues and was a member of a
bio-pharmaceutical consortium that successfully advocated for CMS expansion of recognized drug compendia,
supporting reimbursement and patient access to therapy in Oncology.
Prior to joining COPILOT, Chuck worked at ICON where he served as the President of MediMedia/CHC and head of global access & commercialization, responsible for a team of over 400 life science consultants. Previous to that, he was the Vice President & General Manager of PAREXEL’s reimbursement HUB, health policy and market access consulting practice. Before joining PAREXEL, he held commercial positions of increasing responsibility at Cephalon Oncology, Cell Therapeutics, Genetics Institute (Wyeth Oncology) and Abbott Laboratories.
Chuck graduated from Northeastern University, has an MBA from Clark University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Suffolk University Law School. He attended the Massachusetts Senior Executive Program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and is a former Captain in the United States Army and a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Chuck is admitted to practice before all courts in Massachusetts and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is a frequent presenter at international conferences including the FDA/CMS Summit, DIA and the Financial Times Drug Pricing Summit, and has been quoted in Barrons, PharmaVoice, FDA Week and the Pink Sheet. He is a past member of the government affairs committee of NASP (National Association of Specialty Pharmacies) and of ISPOR’s (International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research) Institutional Council & CER (Comparative Effectiveness Research) Workgroup.
Dr. Moby Kazmi is the President and Co-Founder of COPILOT. In this role, he has led the development of some
of the most innovative bio-pharma reimbursement HUB solutions which have been specifically designed to overcome
access to treatment barriers and improve patient outcomes. Under Moby’s leadership, COPILOT has continued to
provide clients with efficient and effective patient reimbursement and clinical support services, illustrated
by COPILOT’s 95% same day completion rate of patient benefit verifications. Dr. Kazmi has played an integral
role in helping to develop COPILOT’s digital platform and was instrumental in the development of a design that
provides healthcare professionals and bio-pharma clients with instantaneous data regarding patient insurance approval.
His work has led to COPILOT’s services becoming a cornerstone in the commercial success of many essential drug and device products.
As part of COPILOT, Moby established and drives COPILOT Cares, a charitable initiative that benefits underprivileged
children and families around the world through a variety of philanthropic efforts. One of COPILOT Cares’ key
investments is the installation of hand pumps for clean water where access is lacking. To date, COPILOT Cares
has installed more than 300 hand pumps in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, providing clean water to families on a global scale.
Prior to this, Moby co-founded CareMed Specialty Pharmacy. It quickly gained recognition as one of the nation's
fastest growing, privately held companies by Inc. Magazine. By December 2013, annual sales surpassed $250MM.
PharMerica, a leading provider of pharmacy services, acquired CareMed in March 2017.
In 2021, the Orlando Business Journal announced Dr. Kazmi as one of its "CEOs of the Year", an honor shared
by top executives in the region who make both an economic and community-wide impact. Moby was also recently
recognized as one of the National Minority Quality Forum’s top “Forty Under 40” Leaders in Minority Health,
due to his achievements in eliminating health disparities. He serves on the Board of Directors for AdventHealth
for Children (formerly Florida Hospital for Children), Bali Memorial Trust, The Noor Project, and Helping Hands Foundation.
In addition, he has received several citations from the New York State Senate, the New York State Assembly,
the Towns of North Hempstead and Oyster Bay, NY, MLB NY Mets’ Spirit Award, and Entrepreneur and Philanthropist
of the Year Award from the Friends for Good Health Organization. He was recognized by the Nassau County Executive
for his entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and service as a global goodwill ambassador as well. Moby earned his
Medical Doctorate Degree from Avalon School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University.
Ty is one of COPILOT’s original employees, coming from its sister organization, CareMed Specialty Pharmacy, in 2011.
He assumed the role of CTO after serving as COPILOT’s Director of Information Technology. As a member of the
Executive Leadership Team, he works cross functionally to ensure that both internal and external customer
technology needs are met. He directs the development of COPILOT’s strategic planning for acquiring and enabling
efficient information processing and communication technologies, as well as developing IT policies and procedures
in relation to architecture, security, and disaster recovery.
Ty directly leads COPILOT’s IT team and manages the software and web development for HUB solutions.
He is able to take complex technology solutions and make their operations easy to understand by those who
do not have a technical background. Ty has two decades of experience working in the information technology field.
He began his career at Intuit, and gained healthcare experience at Meditab Software, where he established and
maintained computer network infrastructure and security in several countries. He also worked at SuiteRx as
the Telephony Division Manager, overseeing the telephony department for a pharmaceutical software manufacturer.
Ty is the principal architect of COPILOT’s proprietary HUB technology platform that gives providers the
ability to conduct case submission, upload clinical documents from EHRs and see in real-time the progression
of a patient case through the access journey in real-time. This provider portal boasts an industry leading 85% usage rate
across all COPILOT programs. He also created COPILOT’s PA Library and supports the aggregation and reporting of
program data to clients via real-time portal access.
Matt demonstrates value across multiple areas including client relations, account management and business development.
During his seven years at COPILOT, his leadership has supported the launch and transition of many HUB
programs and has helped COPILOT rapidly become a leader in reimbursement HUB services.
Prior to COPILOT, Matt was an account management executive at CMO Club, where he was responsible for
managing billion dollar brand engagement and maintaining C-suite relationships. He also gained extensive
healthcare marketing experience supporting client engagement at Medidata Solutions and Palio Communications (Syneos).
Matt has supported many brands across a variety of disease categories including Osteoarthritis, Dermatology,
Pain Management, Diabetes and Urology. He actively supports COPILOT’s clients, overseeing a team of dedicated
professionals who work to make the client integration process seamless, on time and on budget.
Matt is a graduate of Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI.
Judy has worked with COPILOT’s senior leadership team for nearly a decade, originally joining CareMed Specialty Pharmacy in 2011. She began as a Recruiting Assistant and went on to become the Human Resources Staffing Manager. She transitioned to COPILOT in 2017 and helped expand the Human Resources department, developing recruitment, onboarding and training processes to support HUB operations.
Judy is responsible for staffing, engagement and benefits. She leads the development and strategic placement of personnel. She guides the Human Resources team, manages relationships between leaders and all levels of staff, ensures compliance and advises on all employment matters.
Prior to COPILOT, she was an event coordinator and coached children in educational sports programs. Judy studied writing, literature, and the arts at Brandeis University, and The New School in New York. She uses her strong communication, creativity and baking skills to lift spirits, raise awareness for charitable causes and positively impact the company and the surrounding community.
Edmanuel (Eddie) has been a part of the COPILOT family for over 8 years. He currently serves as
the Director of Operations & Performance. In this role, Eddie works with Team Leads and Supervisors to audit
and understand operations and processes so that, as an organization, COPILOT can continue to change and grow.
He began his career in healthcare as a pharmacy technician and has experience in retail, Long Term Care, and
Specialty Pharmacies. This has allowed him to build an expansive knowledge base on pharmacy benefits and health care in general.
In these positions, he has built a love for quick turnaround time and service.
In addition to monitoring daily operations, Eddie has been instrumental with new product launches.
When he isn't fulfilling his duties at COPILOT, Edmanuel enjoys his time off with his wife and son.
Anne Chiotti, Pharm.D is the Clinical Pharmacist of COPILOT Provider Support Services in Scottsdale, AZ.
In addition to managing all non-dispensing pharmacy operations, Anne provides support to clients, healthcare
professionals, and patients through leading the development of adherence support programs for HUB products.
Having lost two young cousins and countless loved ones to Cancer over the past 2 decades, she finds passion
in providing patient care services to those relying on specialty medications (especially those with Oncology indications).
This inspired her work as a Pharmacist at the Yuma Regional Cancer Center in Yuma, AZ and as a Pharmacy Intern
at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Columbus, OH. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy
from The Ohio State University, a M.S. degree from Roswell Park Cancer Institute (Buffalo, NY) and a B.S.
degree in Pharmaceutical Science from The State University of New York at Buffalo.
